Brymo Accuses Soyinka, Obasanjo and Gani Adams Over University Cultism
Singer Brymo has accused Nobel laureate Wole Soyinka, former President Olusegun Obasanjo and Gani Adams of contributing to the history and spread of secret cultism in Nigerian higher institutions. In social media posts, Brymo claimed that the culture of secret societies has cost young Nigerians their lives. He called on Soyinka to publicly address the origins and original purpose of such groups in universities. Brymo also referenced Fela Kuti, arguing that Fela sought to protect young people. He said he would continue raising the issue until those named respond to his concerns. These are allegations by Brymo and have not been independently established in the post.
