NCDMB Urges Anambra Journalists to Spotlight Oil and Gas Opportunities
The Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board has urged journalists in Anambra State to report more actively on opportunities for Nigerian businesses and professionals in the oil and gas sector. Speaking at a media stakeholders’ workshop in Awka, the Board’s corporate communications chief, Dr. Obinna Ezeobi, said the media should help the public understand local content rules, government interventions and operators’ obligations under the Nigerian Oil and Gas Industry Content Development Act. He said stronger reporting could help indigenous businesses, skilled professionals and host communities identify opportunities across the oil and gas value chain. The workshop also featured sessions on community development, technical-sector reporting and career growth for journalists.
