Cross River Police Arrest Man Accused of Threatening Father With Gun
The Cross River State Police Command says it has arrested a 30-year-old man after his father allegedly reported being threatened with a firearm in Ekori. Police said the report was made at the Ekori Police Division after the alleged incident on October 1. Officers arrested the suspect early the following day and recovered a locally made gun and two live cartridges, according to the command. The suspect is assisting with the investigation. Police said the recovered items have been secured and that the case will proceed in line with due process.
