Kano Hisbah Arrests 22 Over Alleged Illegal Event and Drug Abuse

The Kano State Hisbah Board says it arrested 22 people over an alleged attempt to organise an illegal event in the state. The suspects include 10 women and 12 men. The board said preliminary investigations suggested that many of them were involved in drug abuse. Hisbah said the suspects will be investigated further and prosecuted where necessary. It also warned against activities it considers illegal or immoral in Kano.
