Why I Doubt the North Will Regain the Presidency in 2027

I do not see President Tinubu handing political power to the North in 2027 simply to make the APC ticket appear fair. Even if the APC fields a northern candidate, I believe a PDP candidate such as Nyesom Wike could still emerge president. In my view, the North’s closest route back to the presidency may be through an Atiku presidency or an Obi-Kwankwaso alliance. Outside those possibilities, I think the North may have to wait a long time for another chance at the presidency.
