Fayose Urges APC to Challenge Ede Vote Figures in Court
Former Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose has urged the All Progressives Congress to challenge the election results recorded in Ede, Osun State, in court. Speaking on a television programme, Fayose said the vote figures were suspicious and did not reflect Ede's population size. He noted that Ede is a stronghold of the Adeleke family but argued that the reported margin was unusually high. Fayose pointed to a 46,000-vote gap across two local government areas and said the matter deserves judicial scrutiny. He also predicted that President Bola Tinubu could perform better in Osun during the 2027 presidential election.
