Ibadan Woman Arrested for Assaulting Ex-Husband with ‘Charmed’ Ring

A 31-year-old housewife was arraigned at Iyaganku Chief Magistrates’ Court in Ibadan for allegedly hitting her former husband with a ring believed to be charmed. She faces two counts of breach of peace and assault after the incident, which reportedly took place on June 5 at around 7pm in Alakia, Isebo. Bail was set at ₦2.5 million with two sureties, one of whom must own property within the court’s jurisdiction. The matter is adjourned to August 11 for hearing.
