Zambian Lover Falls from Sixth-Floor Window in Cheating Confrontation

Charles Chibesa followed his wife to a hotel in Jesmondine and found her with Mulundika Mukelebai. He arrived late at night with three witnesses to confront them, but Mukelebai vanished when they burst into the room. Security refused to hand over the room key. As they knocked down the corridor, one friend on the first floor discovered a body below. Police confirmed the man who fell was Mukelebai. Mukelebai’s family sued Chibesa, his friends, the hotel and the wife for ₦1.3 million. They argued the group cornered him and forced him to climb out of the sixth-floor window to escape. The hotel insisted it met all safety guidelines and posted clear warning signs. The presiding judge ruled Mukelebai chose to climb out on his own and that his death was a tragic accident. The case was dismissed.
