Exposed: How "Prince" Adeniyi Adeyemi Matthew Ran a 15-Year Scam
He styled himself as "Prince" despite having no royal claim. Since his LAUTECH days, he invented titles, fake UN credentials and personal awards to defraud Nigerians. In 2016 he hailed himself President-General of a bogus World Youth Organisation and claimed to be a UN aide. The real charity publicly warned against his fraud. He sold summit forms in Ogbomoso and charged ₦600, scamming local students and youth. By 2023 he landed a senior aide role in Osun State government but was fired for forgery. In March 2024 he forged a presidential appointment letter, opened dozens of bank accounts and ran a sham federal operation for 19 months. This 15-year trail of deception exposed repeated institutional failures. Every official warning went unheeded. What does this say about our system when such audacity meets no real consequence?
