Ogun PDP Deputy Governorship Candidate Calls for Responsible Leadership in 2027
Ogun PDP deputy governorship candidate Lateefat Kolapo has called for the emergence of good and responsible leaders in Nigeria and Ogun State during the 2027 general election. Speaking at the 50th anniversary thanksgiving service of the Diocese of Egba in Abeokuta, Kolapo said future leaders should prioritise citizens’ welfare, peace, justice and purposeful governance. She also urged religious tolerance and peaceful coexistence. Kolapo said people of different faiths could unite in worship and work together for the progress of their communities. The service brought together Anglican leaders, community stakeholders, political figures and other guests to mark five decades of the diocese’s spiritual and social impact.
