Troops Kill Son of Bandit Leader Ado Allero and Neutralize 65 Terrorists in Zamfara
Troops of Operation FANSAN YANMA launched a coordinated ground and air assault in Munhaye village, Tsafe Local Government Area of Zamfara State. They neutralised 65 bandits, including Kachalla Iliya Sarki, son of the wanted leader Ado Allero. The battle began around 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 4, 2026, and lasted over seven hours. Troops used precision airstrikes and ground forces to decimate the terrorists’ positions. Security sources report that Ado Allero had mobilised about 300 fighters on motorcycles from the Yan Wari axis and reinforcements from Dankarami Gwaska’s camp. Despite the heavy deployment, superior firepower and tactics overwhelmed the bandits. Seven vigilantes also lost their lives in the operation. Ado Allero has since fled and is believed to be hiding in Yankuzu town. While the death of his son deals a major blow to the network, troops remain on high alert for possible reprisal attacks.
