Court Denies Odogwu Asaba Bail in Favour Agbro Death Case
A Delta State court has refused a bail application by Ifeanyi Ogbonna, popularly known as Odogwu Asaba, in the case involving the late 20-year-old Favour Agbro. The application was argued on September 15, 2026, after Favour’s family opposed his release. Ogbonna will remain at the Ogwashi-Uku Maximum Correctional Centre under an existing remand order as the case proceeds. The case concerns allegations surrounding Favour’s alleged sexual assault and death after she reportedly travelled to Asaba. Investigators have reportedly completed autopsy and toxicology examinations and forwarded the reports to the Delta State Ministry of Justice. The allegations have not been determined by a court. Ogbonna remains presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
