Troops of Sector 2, Operation FANSAN YAMMA, have rescued six members of a family after foiling an attempted kidnapping in Tsafe Local Government Area of Zamfara State. The troops reportedly acted on intelligence about an ongoing attack by armed terrorists targeting the family. They mobilised to the area, engaged the attackers and forced them to flee. All six victims were rescued unharmed and taken to a secure facility for assessment and care. Arrangements are being made to reunite them with their relatives.
