IDF Admits Photoshopping Journalist’s Image to Label Him as Hezbollah Fighter
I watched in disbelief as the Israeli military confessed to fabricating evidence against veteran journalist Ali Shoeib. After his killing alongside two colleagues, the IDF released a doctored photo to claim he was a member of Hezbollah’s Radwan Force. When pressed by a major news network, the army admitted there was no original image—it was all Photoshop. They used this false narrative to justify targeting a reporter covering southern Lebanon. We see a pattern of manipulated visuals and dismissed investigations. Those of us who value press freedom and accountability demand answers. A truly free press must expose occupation crimes without being silenced by propaganda.
