A 14-year-old girl in Georgia has been sentenced to life in prison after pleading guilty to killing her mother, Rachel Wagner, in November 2024. Prosecutors said she shot her 51-year-old mother while she was in bed, then crashed her mother’s car. Officers later found the victim’s body at their home. Investigators said the teenager wrote a confession stating that she had previously planned an attack at her former middle school but abandoned it. They also found online messages and posts linked to mass-casualty planning. She will be eligible for parole after 30 years in prison.
