Woman on Trial Over Alleged Killing of Banker Partner in London
A 51-year-old woman is standing trial at London’s Old Bailey over the death of her partner, a 52-year-old Danish banker. Prosecutors allege that he was stabbed multiple times after telling her he had met another woman at work. Police forced entry into their flat on March 15 after welfare concerns were raised and found his body in the bedroom. The defendant was also found injured and taken to hospital. She denies murder but has admitted manslaughter on the grounds of diminished responsibility.
