Buba Galadima Alleges APC Is Offering Opposition Candidates Cash and Cars to Drop 2027 Tickets

Nigeria Democratic Congress chieftain Buba Galadima has alleged that the APC is offering opposition candidates money and vehicles to withdraw from races ahead of the 2027 general elections. Speaking on a television programme, Galadima claimed that state assembly members who give up their tickets are being offered ₦50 million, while House of Representatives members could receive ₦200 million and a vehicle. He further alleged that the inducements are being coordinated in Abuja and aimed at helping APC candidates face weaker or uncontested opposition. The claims have not been independently verified.
