Nollywood veteran Taiwo Hassan ‘Ogogo’ posted a birthday tribute to President Bola Tinubu. He called him the “number one citizen” and prayed for wisdom, knowledge and divine support. His message sparked fierce backlash online. Fans accused him of selling out, mocked his motives and even unfollowed him. Ogogo is not alone. Talent manager Ubi Franklin, actors Bolanle Ninalowo, Yul Edochie and others have also faced criticism for supporting Tinubu. Some have defended their right to back the president despite the trolling.
