Lisa Folawiyo Unveils ‘After Rain Vol. 1’ at Lagos Fashion Week
Nigerian designer Lisa Folawiyo presented “After Rain: Vol. 1” in Lagos on 1 November. The collection extends her Spring/Summer 2026 line and introduces a format of releasing collections in volumes throughout the year. Inspired by the calm that follows rainfall, it featured 24 looks made with fabrics including silk, cotton, raffia, lace and Akwete. Instead of a conventional runway show, the collection was revealed during an intimate five-course dinner for 60 guests at White Space in Ikoyi. Models moved through the space as guests experienced the clothes up close, blending fashion presentation with an immersive dinner setting. Singer Adekunle Gold, media personality Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, actress Beverly Naya and other guests attended. The evening also received support from Pernod Ricard, Essenza, Lush and Forever Mood.
