A 38-year-old deaf woman, identified as Susuti Denhan, was found dead in Unguwan Abuja, Girei Local Government Area of Adamawa State. Reports say she left home on Friday, August 21, 2026, to gather firewood in the mountains but did not return. Her family began searching for her, and her body was recovered on Saturday. Her head was reportedly missing. The incident comes days after another woman was reportedly beheaded in the same Girei area.
