TCN Schedules Six-Hour Power Outage in Wuse, Jabi, Utako and CBD

The Transmission Company of Nigeria will carry out preventive maintenance on a 100MVA transformer at the Central Area 132/33kV transmission substation on Wednesday, September 23, 2026. The work is scheduled to run from 10:00am to 4:00pm. During this period, AEDC customers in Wuse Zones 1–7, the Sheraton Hotel area, Central Business District, Utako, Jabi and nearby areas will be without electricity. TCN said the maintenance is intended to support the reliability of the transmission network and apologised for the planned interruption.
