TikTok Star Peller Alleges Police Harassment in Lagos Over Unregistered Car

Social media star Peller was stopped by police in Lagos state while driving a newly purchased car without number plates. Inspector General Tunji Disu had directed officers to detain drivers whose vehicles lack plates or have them covered. Peller explained he had yet to complete his vehicle registration, but the encounter turned tense when he began recording. He claims one officer dragged his shirt and even pointed a gun at him.
