Nollywood actress Mo Bimpe has responded to criticism of her call for women trying to conceive (TTC) not to be excluded from baby showers, naming ceremonies and other children’s events. She said people are entitled to share their own experiences and should not have others speak for them. According to her, kindness should not be assumed on someone else’s behalf. Mo Bimpe urged people to invite and include others, then allow them to decide what they can handle. Her message followed Bukky Jesse’s accusation that she was manipulating public opinion by claiming she had been excluded from such events.
