Therapist Insists Women Should Love Their Husbands, Not Just See Them as Partners
A woman recently advised that spouses treat their husbands merely as partners to manage expectations. She argued this view could soften the blow of betrayal and misbehaviour. Marriage therapist Shamseddin Giwa called this mindset “wrong and not healthy.” He stressed that marriage is built on love between both partners. He argued that the energy spent promoting this narrative would be better used teaching women how to make healthier choices in men. He added that past hurt may have shaped her views and expressed hope she will one day find a partner who shows her “appreciated love.”
