Are More Young Nigerian Women Choosing to Delay Sex?

I have noticed that it seems harder to find women aged 18 to 20 who are interested in sex in my area. Many appear to be strongly influenced by messages from their parents, schools and churches about abstinence and waiting until marriage. Some say they do not want sex before marriage or that their parents would not approve. Even where there seems to be mutual attraction, they may still choose to keep that boundary. I know not everyone is the same, and every adult has the right to decide what they are comfortable with. Has anyone else noticed a shift in attitudes towards sex among young adults in Nigeria, or is this mainly local to my area?
