Police Hunt Suspect After Woman Is Killed During Marriage Reconciliation Meeting in Ado Ekiti
Police in Ekiti State have launched a manhunt after 25-year-old Kehinde Onizeokaraga was allegedly killed during a meeting intended to reconcile her with her estranged husband in Ado Ekiti. The suspect, Sodiq Ibrahim, allegedly attacked her with a machete during the meeting and fled. The couple, reportedly from Kogi State, had been facing marital problems and the woman had moved out of their home. The victim's family says she did not know her husband would be at the meeting. The Ekiti State Police Command has ordered a full investigation and says the suspect will be brought to justice.
