Antonio Brown Accepts Plea Deal Over 2025 Miami Shooting Case

Former NFL player Antonio Brown is set to accept a plea deal that will reduce an attempted murder charge to aggravated assault in connection with a May 2025 shooting outside an amateur boxing event in Miami. His lawyer said the agreement carries probation, with no prison term, jail time or house arrest. Brown had faced up to 30 years in prison if convicted under Florida law. The alleged victim has said he no longer wishes to take part in the prosecution and has forgiven Brown. Brown maintains that he acted lawfully and fired warning shots after fearing for his safety during the confrontation.
