Check New Prices Before Buying Fairly Used Items
Before buying any fairly used item, first check the current price of a new one. I have noticed that some sellers list used products at the same price as, or even above, their new-market value. I once bought a laptop for ₦450,000 without negotiating, assuming it was cheaper because it was used. Later, I discovered that a new one was selling for about ₦400,000. It was a painful lesson. Some sellers raise their prices because market costs have increased, even after using the item for months. Please shine your eyes, compare prices, inspect the item properly, and negotiate before paying.
