Troops Arrest Three Suspects, Destroy Terrorist Hideouts in Kaduna and Katsina
Troops of Operation FANSAN YAMMA have arrested three suspected terrorist collaborators and recovered locally made guns and ammunition during intelligence-led operations in Kaduna and Katsina states. In Kaduna, soldiers reportedly arrested a suspect carrying two fabricated guns and 13 rounds of ammunition. Information from the arrest led to the apprehension of two other suspects allegedly connected to moving the weapons. In Katsina, troops and other security agencies raided suspected terrorist enclaves around Maharba and Karaduwa in Matazu LGA. The military said structures used by the group were destroyed, while an RPG-7 tube, a motorcycle and mobile phones were recovered. Suspected terror leader Kachalla Muhammadu Filani was said to have escaped during the operation.
