Residents of Angwan Durun-Uwa in Barkin Ladi woke up in panic on Thursday after a decapitated woman’s body was discovered inside a sack at the community refuse dump. A local youth leader said he received a distress call around 7 a.m. and alerted the police. By the time officers arrived, the body had already begun to decompose, making identification difficult. Authorities are asking anyone with information on missing relatives to report to the police. An investigation is under way to establish the victim’s identity and apprehend the perpetrators. This gruesome find comes days after another beheaded corpse was located on a farm near UNIJOS.
