Zambian Woman Dies After Alleged Assault During Confrontation Over Husband’s Affair
A 26-year-old woman, Vainess Kanyama, has died after she was allegedly assaulted in Kitwe, Zambia, during a confrontation over claims that another woman was involved with her husband. The incident reportedly occurred on August 18 in Kapoto Township. Her uncle said she was found unconscious near a market, bleeding from the nose. She was declared dead before she could be taken to hospital. A post-mortem examination reportedly found blood clots on both sides of her brain. The family has called for justice, while police are reportedly searching for the suspect. The deceased is survived by three children.
