Former BBNaija winner Phyna has responded to actress Nkechi Blessing after the actress criticised her online. Phyna said she was surprised by the public call-out because they are not friends and have had very little contact. According to Phyna, Nkechi previously contacted her about appearing in a film and requested her bank details for payment. Phyna said she sent the details later that day, but Nkechi later informed her that another person had been cast because the project could not be delayed. Phyna maintained that the movie discussion was their only conversation. She said she may share screenshots of their chat to support her account of what happened.
