Former UFC Title Challenger Anthony Smith Arrested on Felony Domestic Violence Allegations
Former UFC title challenger Anthony Smith was arrested in Nebraska on three felony allegations: attempted first-degree domestic violence, terroristic threats and first-degree false imprisonment. The Sarpy County Attorney’s Office said the domestic violence charge carries a possible sentence of one to 50 years in prison. The terroristic-threats charge may attract up to three years in prison, a $10,000 fine and post-release supervision. Smith, 38, was booked into the county jail on Monday night and was scheduled for a bond hearing. Authorities have not disclosed the circumstances that led to his arrest. The allegations have not been proven in court.
