Adamawa ADC Suspends Chairman Over Alleged ₦250 Million Fund Mismanagement

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Adamawa State has suspended its chairman, Ibrahim Dasin, over allegations that he failed to account for more than ₦250 million in party funds. The party’s disciplinary committee said Dasin repeatedly failed to appear before it to explain the spending. The committee also alleged that he did not honour an invitation from the police regarding the party’s finances. Dasin could not be reached for a response at the time of the report. Sa’idu Naira has been ratified as the acting state chairman. He said the new leadership would work to rebuild unity in the party, while the dispute over the party’s governorship ticket remains before the court ahead of the 2027 elections.
