Eddie Murphy and Martin Lawrence Welcome Their First Shared Granddaughter

Eddie Murphy and Martin Lawrence are now grandfathers to the same baby girl, Ari Skye. Their children, Eric Murphy and Jasmin Lawrence, married in May and have since welcomed their daughter. The comedians once joked about who should pay for their children’s wedding. Martin wanted Eddie to cover the bill, while Eddie said it was Martin’s turn. The couple ultimately had a small church wedding with only a preacher present. Martin shared the baby’s arrival during a comedy show, telling the audience, “I’m a grandpa! Me and Eddie Murphy share a grandchild.”
