Army Confirms Death of NYSC Member in Abuja Robbery Shootout

The Nigerian Army has confirmed that National Youth Service Corps member Abdulsamad Jamiu died in a shootout with armed robbers in Abuja. Jamiu was killed in the early hours of April 25 at Shagari Estate, Dei-Dei. Troops on routine night patrol responded to a distress call about an armed robbery and came under gunfire, leaving him caught in the crossfire.
