Baba-Ahmed Criticises Tinubu, Says North Will Suffer If He Wins in 2027

Hakeem Baba-Ahmed has criticised President Bola Tinubu’s administration, describing it as disconnected from the hardship and insecurity faced by Nigerians. Speaking in an interview, Baba-Ahmed said the North could suffer politically and economically if Tinubu wins re-election in 2027. He also described Tinubu as Nigeria’s worst president. He cited the meeting between the President and Catholic bishops, arguing that Tinubu dismissed concerns about hunger, insecurity and other challenges raised by the clerics. Baba-Ahmed said the government must better acknowledge and respond to citizens’ concerns.
