Ex-Detroit Doctor Pleads Guilty to Abusing Toddler and Distributing Child Pornography

A former Detroit Medical Centers doctor admitted in court that he sexually abused a friend’s three-year-old child and shared child pornography online. Lincoln Erickson, 32, was arrested in December 2025 after an FBI investigation linked him to a wider ring of offenders. Evidence included disturbing phone and messaging posts in which Erickson expressed sexual fantasies involving minors. Agents also discovered videos of children in sexual acts and AI-generated pornography depicting nude minors. He pleaded guilty on May 20 and faces a prison term of five to twenty years, a fine of up to $250,000, and a mandatory requirement to register as a sex offender. His sentencing date is set for September 15.
