NDLEA Officer Drowns While Chasing Drug Suspect in Delta River

Reports say a suspect jumped into the river near the Ethiope River Bridge in an attempt to escape. Officers entered the water in pursuit, but one officer was rescued and taken to hospital while another drowned. The officer's body was later recovered.
