Seven Suspected Bandits Arrested in Kebbi Over Killing of Three FRSC Officers
Kebbi State Police Command arrested seven suspected bandits on June 5 in connection with the killing of three Federal Road Safety Corps personnel in Bagudo Local Government. Officers carried out intelligence-led operations around the Soda Forest axis and adjoining border communities. Mobile Police operatives intercepted three men travelling on a Haojue motorcycle loaded with food supplies believed destined for criminal hideouts. Four more suspects were seized on the Bakin Ruwa-Ka’oje route. The suspects remain in custody as investigations continue to determine their role in recent security breaches. Kebbi’s Commissioner of Police lauded the operatives for their professionalism and thanked residents for timely information. The command urged the public to stay vigilant and share credible tips to help dismantle criminal networks and restore security in affected areas.
