A Nigerian soldier has shared a humorous dating experience from Maiduguri, Borno State. He said his Shuwa Arab girlfriend, Falmata, regularly visited him with a small knife. He initially assumed she carried it for protection because of insecurity in the area. When he jokingly asked why she always had the knife, she allegedly replied that he would understand if he ever tried to end the relationship. He said he soon applied for a course in Lagos, joking that his love for life was stronger.
