Netherlands and Mexico Lead U.S. Oil Imports in 2025, Nigeria Takes 132,000 Barrels Daily

U.S. oil exports reached buyers across six continents in 2025, totalling about 10.71 million barrels per day. The figures include crude oil and refined petroleum products. The Netherlands was the largest destination, importing 1.147 million barrels per day, followed closely by Mexico at 1.091 million barrels. Canada, South Korea and Japan completed the top five. Nigeria imported an average of 132,000 barrels per day from the United States, according to U.S. energy data. China and India received 651,000 and 606,000 barrels per day respectively.
