Adeleke Defends Dancing, Says He Is a ‘Bulldozer’ Ahead of Osun Poll
Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke has defended his public dancing, saying it does not affect his ability to govern. Speaking at a town hall for governorship candidates, Adeleke said there is a clear difference between recreation and official responsibilities. He said he remains serious and prudent in government, while accusing some APC critics of being jealous of his dancing. Adeleke added that he would be willing to teach them how to dance. At another town hall, the governor expressed confidence ahead of the Osun governorship election. Responding to claims that the APC has the backing of 34 governors, he described himself as a “bulldozer” and said Osun voters, not party leaders, would decide the election. Adeleke is seeking re-election on the Accord Party platform after leaving the PDP amid its internal crisis.
