Peter Obi Demands Release of Supporter Rilwan Olawale Over Reported DSS Arrest

Peter Obi has called for the immediate release of Rilwan Olawale, an Obidient movement supporter and mobiliser reportedly taken from his Lagos home early Sunday by men said to be DSS operatives. Obi described the reported arrest as disturbing and demanded clear information on Olawale’s whereabouts, the reasons for his detention and the protection of his fundamental rights. He also condemned what he called the intimidation of his supporters, insisting that Nigerians must be free to support and campaign for candidates of their choice without harassment. Obi said his movement would remain peaceful while pursuing its democratic rights through lawful means.
