How Would Nigeria Fund Public Services if Fuel Subsidies Return?
If Nigeria allocates about 700,000 barrels of crude oil to local refineries at production cost as a subsidy, how will government fund workers’ salaries, security agencies, roads, hospitals and emergency health services? This debate goes beyond party politics and should focus on how the country can balance fuel affordability with essential public spending.
