Tinubu to Attend APC Campaign Rallies in 12 States, Skip More Than 20

President Bola Tinubu is scheduled to personally attend APC re-election campaign rallies in 12 states, while party leaders and campaign council members cover more than 20 other states and the FCT. The campaign is expected to begin in Kaduna on October 24. Tinubu is listed for rallies in Rivers, Plateau, Oyo, Borno, Enugu, Bauchi, Sokoto, Delta, Kano, Adamawa and Lagos, among others. He is expected to miss scheduled stops in states including Cross River, Gombe, Nasarawa, Ekiti, Ebonyi, Jigawa, Ondo, Edo, Yobe, Kebbi, Akwa Ibom, Anambra and Benue. Tinubu said he would balance campaign activities with his responsibilities in government and would still address Nigerians during the campaign. Opposition figures, however, argued that he should campaign across the country and account for his first-term record before seeking another mandate.
