APGA BoT Denies Endorsing Tinubu for 2027, Faults Soludo

Members of the APGA Board of Trustees say they were not consulted before reports that the party adopted President Bola Tinubu as its candidate for the 2027 election. The group said adopting a presidential candidate is a major party decision that should involve the Board of Trustees, National Working Committee, elected members and other stakeholders. It argued that Governor Chukwuma Soludo cannot make such a decision alone, warning that any alliance or endorsement must be based on consultation, collective agreement and negotiation.
