Do2dtun Backs Toluwanisings’ Wife in Dispute Over Singer’s Burial

Media personality Do2dtun has shared his view on the disagreement over where late singer Toluwanisings should be buried. He argued that a spouse and children should have priority in decisions about a deceased person’s burial and property. Do2dtun said burying someone in a residential property can create emotional strain for those living there. He also questioned the value of burying a person in a home, except where it was clearly their wish. The singer’s family and wife reportedly disagree over the burial location. His father preferred burial at the singer’s Ibadan home or in Ikirun, while his wife is said to favour a cemetery or church burial ground. Other commentators, including Wale Jana and Kudirat Ogunro, also argued against burying the singer in his only home, noting that the property could later be needed or sold by his family.
