Ede Cult Clash Leaves Two Students Dead, Several Injured

The Osun State Police Command has confirmed that two undergraduates were killed and others critically injured following a suspected cult clash in Ede. The incident occurred late Tuesday night when armed assailants believed to be from a rival cult stormed an off-campus residence. Police spokesperson Abiodun Ojelabi said investigators have launched a probe into the coordinated attack, which eyewitnesses described as brutal. About six students were in the apartment when attackers forced their way in and assaulted them with dangerous weapons. The injured victims were rushed to a nearby hospital and are receiving treatment. An anti-cultism group also reported that the operation targeted a suspected cult member known as Dara, who was inside the residence at the time.
