Woro Residents Reject Relief Goods, Demand Rescue of 176 Abductees in Kwara

Residents of Woro community in Kaiama Local Government, Kwara State, have angrily refused mats, buckets and school bags delivered by a federal delegation after a deadly terrorist attack. They said the relief items are an insult given the loss of over 200 people. The community insists that their priority is security and the immediate rescue of 176 women and children abducted during the raid. Videos since February 3 show the captives in poor condition pleading for help. Terrorists claiming responsibility say this is the victims’ “final opportunity” to appeal to authorities. Families urge both state and federal governments to act swiftly before more lives are lost.
